We couldn't be more pleased with Mario's work. He showed us how to get the curved effect that we wanted in our walkway, and indeed the brickwork he completed looks absolutely wonderful. The detail on the steps is just as excellent. And the slight tilt of the walk over uneven ground drains perfectly. Over all, great work at a fair price.

Mario Lopez is a jewel! He is a master craftsman and perfectionist, who takes great pride in the quality of his work. He is not done until you and he are totally satisfied. The first job he ever did for me was to build historically appropriate railings for my front porch, replace some floorboards and paint. He noticed that one corner of the porch floor dipped slightly. I told him I wasn't worried about it, as it was structurally sound. I came home one day and found that he had nonetheless moved the pillar in that corner, braced it up and made the floor perfect. No extra charge. Since then, he has done everything from repairing an antique rocker, to fixing sliding doors in my 110-year-old house that hadn't worked in decades, to a total remodeling of my third floor. He has excellent taste and is a real problem solver. The third floor bathroom is in a very awkward space. Mario came up with a terrific design and implemented it beautifully. He is totally reliable and an extremely nice guy, a pleasure to work with. I could not recommend Mario more highly.
